Several years ago, an East Texas boy met a West Texas girl, and sparks flew. Before the first year was over, their first offspring was born… Habanera and the guero.
Ben is veteran of the United States Army, and served in Iraq. His technical background prepared him for the day-to-day challenges of running a restaurant.
Vanessa attended culinary school, and worked in one of Houston’s top restaurants, gaining valuable experience. Her passion for cooking and attention to detail is reflected on every plate that comes out of the kitchen.

We can accommodate groups of up to 25 at any time; parties of 8 or more please make a reservation in advance so we can provide the best service.
